Lino Lėlės

Alesiutė

Puppetry play for children and their families

At first glance, a simple, uneventful fairy tale, touched by puppeteer Linas Zubė, artist Renata Valčik and composer Laima Jadenkutė, turns into a metaphorical philosophical stage novel, inviting to explore the deep layers of human nature, to look into the destructive relationship of man with the superficial, lying, noisy world, to listen to the silent voice of conscience and experience that repentance and reconciliation are steps to salvation.

The puppeteer L. Zubė does not get distracted by details, he concentrates on the essence – a person is constantly tempted, every minute there is a battle between good and evil in his heart. Evil, changing masks, sophisticatedly flattering self-love, promising new experiences and discoveries, lures more than one into a trap, maybe that’s why she is “not ideal”, does not perform feats, does not have supernatural powers, full of kindness of heart, but every time she makes mistakes, Alesiutė will become a non-critical, hopeful mirror of ourselves, and the finale of the play will remind you not to rush to condemn and judge, because forgiveness, mercy and love are the perfect tools that help the person who stumbles to get up and move on.
