The education “The Hunt for Light” presents the most famous works of professional photographers of Klaipėda city and Lithuania and their contexts about the environment around us, relationships and human life. The education will allow you to see yourself and your environment through the themes created by the artists. It will also be possible to experience that black and white photography is just as vivid as colour photography, and that the contrasts of light and shadow in it are particularly striking and convey the mood and stimulate the human senses. We will try to find out to what extent photographs and images are still meaningful in people’s everyday lives, and during the creative exercise we will invite you to “catch the light” to the extent that a photograph turns into an eloquent image.
